Sembcorp Industries wishes to announce that its inactive wholly-owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Energy Pte Ltd has been placed under Members’ Voluntary Liquidation on 7 December 2007. Mr Robert Yam Mow has been appointed as the liquidator for the company.

The voluntary liquidation of the subsidiary does not have any material financial impact on Sembcorp Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2007.
